OUR ROOTS - A COVID-19 PROJECT.
This Black History Month, delve into the rich origin stories of our grandparents and great grandparents.
During Lockdown, we worked with some incredible youngsters on interviewing their grandparents and great grandparents. Our aim? To bridge the Black family generation gap. OUR ROOTS is a product of all their hard work, superb investigative journalism skills and eagerness to listen to and learn all about the origin stories of the elders in their family. Each story tells the heroic tale of a brave generation that ventured into the unknown and built a life and a legacy here in the UK.
