Deacons Ghana: The place we live, learn and love
Deacon’s Academy Foundation School of Excellence is a primary school located in the Paradise residential area, K-Boat, Accra, Ghana.
During the global pandemic, the Year 4, 5 and 6 pupils began working with award-winning teacher and publisher Juliet Coley Bremmer BCAe who taught them Literacy and Literature weekly via Zoom.
The children expressed that they wanted to write a book and Juliet set up a Birthday Just Giving Crowdfunder. In 3 days the target was reached and this book is the result - ‘Deacons Ghana’ - a book about the place they live, learn and love - Ghana in Africa.
