Cancer, Mummy & Me

Romeo Bremmer is the 11 year old Award-Winning inspiration behind Young LIT Stars! He wrote his first book Life Without my Mummy at the age of 7 following his mother's heart attack in 2015 and won a TruLittle Hero Award in 2016, and then won again in 2018 for his book Hey, Black Boy!. He has also written: Romeo’s Guide to London Architecture, Romeo’s Guide to Free London for Children and his most recent published work Cancer, Mummy & Me, which documents his mother’s cancer journey from his perspective.

Romeo loves playing Fortnite and cooking with his sister. When he’s older, Romeo wants to be a footballer and an architect.

Juliet Bremmer is Romeo’s mother and she supported him during the process of writing this book.
